About Embrace

Welcome. I set up this website primarily to share information and products that I feel are important and of potential benefit to women and their families.

I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry, ten years biomedical research experience both in N.Z. and the U.S., and have published in numerous international peer-reviewed scientific journals.

I have also had a long term interest in complementary and alternative medicines and therapies and have written extensively on natural parenting, pregnancy and birth, health and nutrition, and herbs and herbal medicine (see articles).

I have two daughters, both of whom were born at home and attachment parented (see photos). I have just had a third child - a little boy, also born at home.
